Zero One Technology is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team!

In Zero One Technology, you will work with a highly motivated team of designers, researchers and product managers to build products that make a real difference to the businesses we work with. You are expected to shape the products not only through code, but also through product development conversations and sound tradeoffs between features and technical complexity.

Responsibilities

• Execute as an engineer with a pragmatic focus on ROI to deliver the product.
• Think about and build a deep understanding of the product’s value to the clients and users.
• Communicate and work cross functionally with the product team.
• Understand technical constraints, resources and opportunities, and effectively communicate ideas and concerns to the team.
• Estimate and prioritise software requirements.

Requirements

• Excellent problem solving skills.
• Passion for engineering as a craftsmanship with a mindset of continuous growth and learning about everything related to technology.
• Proficiency in Linux, Bash, Python, Docker, Gitlab CI/CD, AWS, Terraform and New Relic. (Or other scripting languages, containerisation tools, CI/CD platforms, cloud providers, infrastructure-as-code tools and monitoring tools).
• Experience in managing infrastructure, developing CI/CD pipelines and automating developers’ tasks.
• Experience in troubleshooting and debugging web and mobile applications followed by implementing solutions.
• Familiarity with RESTful web services using Node.js and related web frameworks such as Fastify, Express, Koa or Hapi.
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases such as Postgres and MongoDB respectively.
• Understanding of different deployment models for backend services, web and mobile applications.
• Fluent in English or Indonesian.

Nice to Have

• Good verbal communication skills.
• Experience in working in a remote, agile team environment.
• Experience in developing robust and maintainable infrastructure setup.
• Experience with Nx or other build tools.
• Deep hands-on experience in one cloud platform and its services (e.g. using GCP’s GKE cluster with preemptible instances).
