Worlder TEAM is a startup founded by four doctorates and a project manager from Carnegie Mellon University, one of the top universities in engineering and technology in the United States. Our company is on a mission to create a groundbreaking platform that empowers small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to effortlessly expand their businesses globally, as outlined in our mission statement, "Create a platform that takes SMEs global effortlessly."

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of backend services and APIs.

• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise existing systems.

• Assist in the implementation of security and data protection measures.

• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting them for architectural review.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with no ongoing classes at the moment

• Graduate from Bangkit Academy is preferred

• Strong understanding of Golang as the server-side language, 

• Knowing Python and its backend framework is a plus.

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.

• Basic knowledge of database management systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.

• Understanding of Agile development methodologies.

• Knowledge of DevOps & CI/CD is a plus.

• Knowledge of cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus. 

• Understanding of version control systems, preferably Git.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Good communication skills.
