SENIOR FULL STACK WORDPRESS DEVELOPER

The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in web development, HTML, web design, PHP, HTML5, CSS, UI/UX, JavaScript, and WordPress.

As a Full-Stack WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing user-friendly WordPress websites that meet our clients' needs. You will work closely with our project managers and designers to create custom WordPress themes and plugins, as well as customize existing WordPress themes and plugins.

We are looking for someone who can actually code and work closely with our lead developer. You need to be okay with screen share calls from time to time since we have a lot of custom code. If you can't do that, please don't apply.

Requirements:

- Based in Bali (preferably close to Ungasan)

- 5+ years of experience in developing custom WordPress and WooCommerce themes and plugins

- Must follow WordPress Coding Standard

- Must be able to do live code reviews

- Expert knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, WordPress Hooks and Filters, REST API

- Must be able to QA your own work using tools like BrowserStack

- Must be able to quote hours for tasks

- Must be able to identify and troubleshoot bugs

⁃ Proficiency in custom theme development

⁃ Expertise in developing WordPress plugins

⁃ Knowledge of the WordPress Rest API

⁃ Skills in page speed optimization

⁃ Familiarity with WordPress CLI and Composer

⁃ Ability to troubleshoot using WordPress debugging tools and error logs

⁃ Proficiency in JavaScript debugging

⁃ Familiarity with the Linux command line, including updating PHP modules and managing Apache and Nginx configurations

⁃ Expertise in MySQL queries and database optimization

⁃ Familiarity with the Bootstrap framework

⁃ Strong understanding of responsive design techniques and frameworks

⁃ Experience with website security best practices, including regular backups and site hardening

⁃ Ability to integrate third-party APIs seamlessly

⁃ Knowledge of version control tools, like Git

⁃ Familiarity with modern development tools and practices, including continuous integration and deployment

⁃ Strong understanding of web performance and SEO best practices

- Not required, but great to have Adobe Photoshop skills

Work Arrangement

- Full-time, hybrid (The full stack developer can work remotely, however, if necessary, offline meetings will be scheduled)

- Monday-Friday, flexible hours, work at your own schedule (8 hours a day)
