Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Junior Software Quality Assurance (QA) professional to join our team. As a Junior Software QA at SOCA AI, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our AI-driven software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, document, and resolve software defects, while also contributing to the enhancement of our testing processes.

Responsibilities:

1. Test Planning: Assist in creating and maintaining test plans and strategies, ensuring comprehensive coverage of our software products.

2. Test Execution: Conduct functional, integration, and regression testing to identify software defects, verify fixes, and ensure the overall product quality.

3. Bug Tracking: Document and track defects using issue tracking tools, providing clear and detailed information to developers for resolution.

4. Test Automation: Collaborate with senior QA engineers to develop and maintain automated test scripts to streamline testing processes.

5. Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and user stories.

6. Documentation: Create and update test cases, test scripts, and test reports to maintain a comprehensive test documentation library.

7. Continuous Improvement: Contribute ideas and suggestions for improving QA processes and practices to enhance overall software quality.

8. Regression Testing: Perform regular regression tests to ensure that new features or changes do not introduce unexpected issues.

9. Usability Testing: Participate in usability testing to ensure our products meet user expectations and deliver a seamless experience.

10. Quality Assurance Metrics: Collect and analyze QA metrics to identify areas for improvement and track progress over time.

Qualifications:

- Min. 1 year experience as Junior Software Quality Assurance

- Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality software.

- Familiarity with software testing methodologies, processes, and best practices.

- Basic understanding of software development concepts and programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, or JavaScript). (optional)

- Experience with testing tools such as Selenium, Katalon, or similar is a plus.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to evolving priorities.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
