- Monthly Study Gathering: Study gathering involving all new hires to transfer knowledge around technical, best practices, soft skills, and learning progress.
- Mentorship: Pair with Google Cloud’s CE/PE for mentorship and gain insight from experts.
- Shadow/Reverse Shadowing: Involve in real customer-facing activities and get feedback from Google Cloud CEs/PE.

Cloud Data Junior Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
As a Cloud Data Junior Engineer, your primary responsibilities will involve working with data-related aspects within the Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will be part of a collaborative team, contributing to the development and maintenance of data solutions. Key responsibilities include:
- Data Engineering:
- Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and data processing systems on GCP.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient data flow and accessibility.
- GCP Services Implementation:
- Implement and configure GCP services related to data, such as BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Dataflow.
- Ensure seamless integration of diverse data sources into GCP environments.
- Data Security and Compliance:
- Implement and adhere to data security best practices and compliance standards.
- Work towards maintaining data integrity and confidentiality.
- Monitoring and Optimization:
- Set up monitoring systems for data pipelines, ensuring reliability and performance.
- Continuously optimize data processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaboration and Documentation:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements.
- Document data processes, configurations, and best practices.
- Learning and Development:
- Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with the latest GCP data technologies.
- Participate in the Cloud Ace certification training program for professional development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, and information technology with a minimum GPA of 3.00 out of 4.00 scales.
- Fresh graduate with knowledge in architecting, designing, developing, and implementing cloud solutions.
- Graduate of the Bangkit Cloud Computing program.
- Google Associate Cloud Engineer certification holder is preferred.
- A maximum of 2 years of work experience since university graduation
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks/projects.
- Strong aptitude for learning and commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Demonstrated integrity, problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and effective communication.
- Have two or more knowledge and skills such as :
- Cloud Architecture
- Deep understanding of GCP services, including BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer, Data Catalog, and Cloud Dataflow.
- Experience with big data processing tools and techniques, such as Apache Beam, Apache Spark, and MapReduce.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, covering data modeling, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load), and data quality management.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for database queries and manipulation.
- Proficiency in scripting languages, such as Python or Bash, for automation and data processing.
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts.
- Experience working with Google Cloud AI Platform services, including BigQuery ML, Vertex AI, and TensorFlow.
- Understanding of version control systems like Git for collaborative development and code management.
- Knowledge of data governance principles and security best practices in the cloud.
- Good communication skills in English, both oral and written.
