Specific Qualification and Competencies

  • Education & Certifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Telecommunications, Business Administration, or a related field.

    • Professional certifications preferred (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA, Agile/Scrum certifications, TM Forum certifications)

  • Experience

    • 3–7 years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT, Telecommunications, or Systems Integration projects.

    • Hands-on experience with integration projects involving OSS/BSS systems, CRM, ERP, network systems, or cloud platforms.

    • Exposure to APIs, middleware, ESB (Enterprise Service Bus), and system orchestration.

    • Familiarity with telco-specific environments (e.g., mobile, fixed, broadband, IoT).

  • Technical Skills

    • Strong understanding of system integration principles (API gateways, microservices, ETL, data mapping, middleware).

    • Experience working with API documentation (Swagger, OpenAPI) and understanding REST/SOAP services.

    • Ability to analyze complex system interfaces and workflows.

    • Tools: JIRA, Confluence, Visio, BPMN tools, Postman (for API testing), SQL (for basic data analysis).

    • Understanding of cloud integrations (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.

    • Knowledge of Telecom domains (e.g., provisioning, billing, charging, customer management).

    • Having Dicoding certifications will be a plus

  • Business & Analytical Skills

    • Strong requirements gathering, gap analysis, and process mapping skills.

    • Ability to write clear business requirement documents (BRD), functional specifications (FSD), and use cases.

    • Capability to create high-level and detailed-level process flow diagrams and sequence diagrams.

    • Ability to perform data analysis, identify integration points, and manage data mapping exercises.

    • Understanding of business process re-engineering and digital transformation initiatives.

  • Soft Skills

    • Excellent communication skills (both technical and business language).

    • Strong stakeholder management – ability to bridge between technical teams and business users.

    • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality deliverables.

    • Problem-solving mindset with a proactive attitude.

    • Team player who can also operate independently when required.

    • Agile/Scrum working experience is highly valued.
