Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years with UNIX/Linux systems.
• 3+ years of experience operating and building software in cloud environments, like GCP (Google Cloud Platform)
• Familiar with shell script or one particular language.
• Experience with software development.
• Experience with system/relational database administration
• Experience with configuration management software, such as Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef is Plus.
• Production experience with Docker & Docker Swarm or Kubernetes is Plus.

Job Description

• Generate and execute innovative ideas for DevOps and help product development.
• Maintenance, setting up and improve development tools and infrastructure, private and public infrastructure
• Understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to developers
• Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
• Testing and examining infrastructure security, services running process, stress test and analysing results
• Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
• Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and ‘fixes’
• Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
• Planning out product/projects and being involved in product/project management decisions.
