As an Academy Code Reviewer, you will participate in the student learning process at Dicoding. You will direct students to write code that is good, efficient, and in accordance with the rules that apply to a particular programming language or platform.

The code review process at Dicoding refers to real practices carried out in the software development industry. Students will get immediate feedback on the code written for an assignment in the class being studied.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing student submissions (assignments) in a course according to the given target.
• Collaborate with the Academy team in designing the submission (assignment) of a course.
• Contribute to software projects developed by the Reviewer team.

Reviewable course

As a reviewer, you will be responsible for a learning path that has been mastered. You can choose 1 (one) or more of the following learning paths:

• Android Developer
• iOS Developer
• Back-End Developer
• Front-End Developer
• React Developer
• Machine Learning Developer
• Multi-Platform App Developer
• DevOps Engineer
• Google Cloud Professional
• Azure Cloud



Requirements

• Understand writing code that is good, efficient, and according to the conventions of a programming language.
• Knowing the best practice of the platform used in the course to be reviewed.
• Thorough and have a good debugging ability.
• Mastering the technology used in the course to be reviewed. Proven by:
• Pass with good grades in the course, or
• Has contributed to the course. For example, providing input to the course or being active in discussion forums.
• Having a growth mindset and high curiosity.
• Want to live a healthy and balanced life.

Nice to Haves

• Experienced in providing code reviews to teammates.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Open to receiving feedback from others.
• Confident and trustworthy personality.
• Having basic research skills is a plus.
• Experience in managing a community is a plus.
