Job Responsibilities
• Coordinate and interact with other departments in IT Division for the process of development projects, integration projects, or selection of new software.
• Coordinate with other departments in IT Division in creating project estimation, detailed project plans, work assignments, vendor dates, and other aspects of assigned projects.
• Responsible for the requirements management plan, business process models, business requirements (functional and non-functional), and prioritization of requirements.
• Develop clear requirements for enhancements or projects by conducting interviews with management, department leaders, and related parties.
• Formulates and defines scope and objectives for assigned projects.
• Ensure business requirements are accurately communicated to the respective internal development team or external vendor.
• Work closely with business users to gather and analyze requirements to formulate solutions design in new system development or existing system enhancement.
• Functions as the liaison between the business line, operations, and the technical areas throughout the project cycle.
• Reviews, evaluates, and develops recommendations for enhancements and support of applications.
• Effectively manage change requests or requests for enhancements.
• Ensure that system enhancements follow the appropriate IT guidelines, meet or exceed user requirements, and are completed in a timely manner.
• Assist in troubleshooting post-implementation issues for large/complex projects.
• Responsible for assessing, doing fit and proper checks and initiate the new technology trends adoption in software for the long-term benefit of the organization.
• Stay updated to technology trends and business changing environment according to local and global needs.
• Develop and apply industry best practice technology, design, and methodology approaches to design system architecture.
• Research and recommend new emerging technologies, techniques and tools that will add value to the organization.
• Collaborate with other staff to design and implement effective technology solutions and strategy, while using innovative business and technology processes to identify and implement improvement initiatives, eliminate redundancies, and maximize the reuse of applications.
• Management Support Activities:
o Provide Report to direct Supervisor.
o Suggest improvement process related to activities in area of responsibilities (especially related to time concern, effort, and cost).
o Perform activities related to Quality Management System.
o Perform additional tasks related to key responsibilities as required by Direct Supervisor.
Job Requirements
Education Requirement:
• Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Computer Studies
Work Exposure/ Experience:
• Minimum 6 years working experience in Business Analyst/ System Analyst/ Software/Information System Development
Specialist requirement:
• Obtain International (non-local) certification listed on the list of Certification for IT Specialist
• Validity of required certifications should refer to the list of Certification for IT Specialist
Special Skills:
• Excellent in System development lifecycle phases (i.e. project planning, system analysis, system design, implementation, integration and testing, acceptance, installation and deployment, and maintenance)
• Strong project management and planning skills
• Business process reengineering and modeling techniques
• Management tools and techniques for quality assurance
• Knowledge of current technology trends and innovations
