Job Overview:

The QA Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through testing and analysis. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of software development and testing methodologies, and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.

Candidates that have working experience in QA Engineer on Odoo ERP will be prioritized

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various software applications.

• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.

• Identify, document, and track defects and issues using appropriate tools and methodologies.

• Collaborate with developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback on usability and functionality.

• Participate in design and code reviews to ensure testability and quality standards.

• Perform root cause analysis on identified defects and work with the development team to resolve them.

• Ensure that testing activities comply with established standards and best practices.

• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.

• Provide clear and concise test reports and documentation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role in software development.

• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing methodologies.

• Proficiency in using testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Katalon, etc.

• Experience with automated testing tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript).

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
